Importantly, you should restart Windows 98 so the new Cruzer drivers can properly load into your system. Make sure you have the SNDKW98.INF file in your C:\Windows\INF directory, and put it in another directory too, like C:\Drivers.3. In a perfect world, the current OS would be backwards compatible with all hardware. With the Sandisk Cruzer micro, the U3 part must first be deleted for that flashdrive to become a regular USB storage device. Why is it picking this driver? Any help is appreciated. It was green, flashy and attached to a Network Interface Card...Whenever someone says "You can't miss it", I invariably do... There's a really old one before U3 that will.
