Not just SanDisk and Best Buy. Booting up with the flash drive stick installed seems to make the drive visible but not accessable. Sandisk Drivers I found these details by booting into Linux and viewing the /proc/bus/usb/devices file with the drive inserted. Verbatim and PNY both have drives that are supported and the drivers are easier to install.

The U3 crap can be stripped from the drive with a program that can be downloaded from the U3 Website, but you have to run it with your drive installed and I tested the files on the drive afterwards to make sure everything worked ok and I had no problems at all. select remove it. Make sure USB PORT is ENABLED in CMOS.
